Overwintering Gerbera Daisy?

| Greetings all...I received a Gerbera daisy as a gift in October. Obviously, I've kept it inside the house. The flowers have now faded and I'm left with the foilage.
Can I overwinter the plant in a bright window? Anyone out there have any success with this?
I'm going to try it and see what happens...I just wanted to know if I'm wasting my time.
Ciao,

| I asked this same question on the annual forum. Do a search for the answer..I was surprised! |

I repotted a dozen Gerbera Daisies a couple of weeks ago following an exceptional season of growth and blooms. They look great...for now. It appears I have a couple of choices for overwintering: 1. Treat as houseplants - or 2. Let them go dormant I would appreciate guidance with each of the options. Thanks Doug |

| I planted some as an annual, and had them come up, and bloom, the following year. I think a good layer of winter mulch might be the answer. Haven't tried it as a house plant. |
