I have some heliconias and bananas and other plants that i need to find homes for ,,, too many plants for my greenhouse

willing to give them to EXPERIENCED plant growers that have a source of overhead light , greenhouse or conservatory ... to get them thru the winter ..

to be picked up in Stamford CT

RE: tropicals need good homes

OH... sure wish I'd been checking here more often...I'd have loved to take a few of them off your hands.. I know the no space aspect of tropicals.. I have three 400 watt lights for them inside.. along with a pile of T-5 plant lights.. and still I need more space... so I built a
6' X 8' foam building ... made of 1 1/2 "foam all around... the sides and top.. with a small heater I can cool them down to dormancy.. and still keep them warm and alive..pretty cheaply...
Brugmansias..and plumeria are the majority of my tropicals.. I've maybe 5 or 6 dozen.. others occour in smaller numbers... although eppies are starting to make inroads.. Just think.. only 4 more months.. of computer gardening.. and zone envy to go... Gordon
