Brooklyn Tree Trimmer

| Can anyone recommend a professional tree trimmer who works in Brooklyn? I need a pretty large tree removed altogether as well as general tree trimming/crown raising. It's a brownstone backyard with access only through the house. Thanks for any leads. |

| When I needed advice about a sick tree, I contacted the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The person I spoke with came out, gave me an assessment and removed the tree for a very reasonable price ($200 or something). So, I'd suggest contacting them. |

Talk to Carl. They cleaned up very nicely too, taking all the branches away and grinding them up on site. It's required by law that all New York City tree trimmings be chipped and burned here, thanks to the Asian Longhorned Beetle quarantine. |

| I used Prospect Tree a few years ago to remove a large tree in the backyard of a brownstone. Paid a lot more than that Botanic Gardens price. Sounds like a great deal dirtytoes. Was it a big tree ? |
