A group of beekeepers maintain hives at various
community gardens around NYC, and a few of us have
hives outside the city, but there is a need for hive
locations in Manhattan, and all of NYC.
Rooftops are best, of course, but any garden will do.
Honeybees are harmless as long as one does not kick
the hive. Foragers do not sting.
New hives would be placed in early April, and
access would be need no more often than once
or twice a month.
