parasite help!

today when watering one of my hanging plants I found a leaf that at first glance appeared to be fuzzy with a white mold, but as I picked the leaf off one piece of "mold" landed on my arm and appeared to be a worm like creature thin as a piece of hair, but maybe less than 1/4" long. They were white and it looked like the head could have been black and it moved like an inchworm. any ideas what this might be?

Maybe it is AN inch worm.. I had big catapillars on mine... then tiny tiny ones like you describe.. and while looking for more ... I ran nose to nose with a gigantic grasshopper 6 floors up on the roof... I get every pest there ... except for the deer...and rabbits... they don't climb the fire escape real well ...Gordon

I don't think that was what it was... it was MUCH thinner than any inchworm I have ever seen... but you never know... we definately have an abundance of bettles and grasshopper and massive spiders... oh well... hehe
