I am wondering if anyone knows a suppplier of bamboo poles- I want to make an obelisk out of 3/4" or 1" poles...

Marina... I get bamboo from Bamboo and rattan woorks out in NJ.. but I'm sure they will ship into you... they have up to 4-5" dia poles all the way down to smaller ones... and they have some reddy made items.. like the tiki huts and gates..great folks to do business with just tell them how long you need them and the diamemeter you desire...
