SMART Design, a leading product design firm is searching for gardeners to participate in a study to test gardening tools. We're searching for avid gardeners who regularly prune plants.

In order for the test to be beneficial for our designers we have a few qualifications:
1. Which of the following tools do you use regularly? (Pruning saw, loppers, hand pruners, and hedge shears)

2. What brand/s of pruning tools do you use?

3. How long have you owned your current pruning tools?

4. How often do you prune?

5. Briefly describe you garden, (size, vegetation etc)

We will be visiting the participant’s garden with various pruning tools for approx an hr, so all parties interested should have shrubs/hedges, trees, plants, etc. User testing will be conducted the week of October 2nd.

Gardeners will be compensated for their participation. Please contact me if you feel you qualify.

Thanks!

RE: Garden Testers around NYC

Hi Diane-I just saw your posting and would love to participate in your testing. I have a large roof garden on Atlantic
Ave in Bklyn with mostly pines, shrubs, roses and perennials. (photos available). I use a Felco #4 hand pruner, Florian ratchet hand pruner, Felco pruning saw and Joyce Chen scissors. I prune whenever my plants seem to need it. Look forward to hearing from you.

Did I miss this? Shoot.. I have a large area that was negected by the previous owners and don't have the right tools to do the job.
Would be great to test out those tools.
But I guess I missed it..
