white crabapple tree not growing

| I planted a white crabapple tree a little over a year ago ; it was about 5 feet tall. It has grown only about 6 inches. It flowered nicely in the Spring and looks healthy. Any ideas as to why it is growing so slow? I specifically bought it because crabapples are supposed to grow fast. Thanks. |
