| I have had great luck growing snapdragons in my gardens. They survive the winter and come back every year, even in the cracks of my concrete walkways! I know they prefer cooler weather, but they even survived all through this hot summer! I am looking for some plants to put in my garden this fall, but can't seem to find any in the local nurseries. I guess they just sell them in the spring, although I would think they would also be offered in the fall along with other cooler weather plants like pansies. Anyone spot snapdragon plants lately? I live on the south shore of Long Island. |

At this point in the year, I would suggest buying some seeds & shaking them where you want the plants next year. I'm sure you won't find them as plants in the store now since they're considered annuals & they're not used as often as other annuals. ~Nancy |

| Debra, I also have had a lot of luck with Snapdragons and I was actually very surprised to see that they came back this spring. They're just starting on a second round of blooms this year, amazing. Sorry, I haven't seen snapdragons in many months. They're defintely considered an annual, but I guess you and I have proved them wrong. :) Maria |
