 o
magnolia question

I live in brownstone brooklyn. In the spring i planted a small, young, yellow magnolia "brooklynensis" developed by the BBG, in front of my house. It seems to have some flower buds on it now. It bloomed nicely inthe late spring with about 6 buds. Is it possible that it could bloom again in the fall? I could find any info re: brooklynensis.
Any suggestions for its care now (should i fertilize?), would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

RE: magnolia question

I would not fertilize any tree(s) this late in the season .Make sure it has at least 1" of water /week through the rest of summer . just my 2 cents
