Living in Manhattan, we are looking for a good storage shed for our rooftop garden space. Approximately 6'x6'. Any suggestions for locating such a thing?

Grvn...
Well you must be in a warehouse if you're looking at 6x6 ..and probually a walk in ..like 8' or maybe just 7' tall in the elevator...even a wall pannel of 6x8 would tax most elevators...
So you're looking to have something built up from lumber that you can fit in the elevator.. or up the stairwell.. It would give the most of just what you want in a building up there.. you're looking for a no permit temporary storage shed...
So in building one there... you need to descide what you want it to look like and what you wish it to do there... and how... and have it made up there...

Well looking at homedepot.. they have lots... descide on plastic from rubbermaid... or metal... a light aluminum.. and wood... a cedar type .. not cheep... but they seem to come with installation.. if they can drive near by..
I remember a SOHO conversion that had diffrent buildings for each of the four units with roof access... one was a barn and silo.. one was a metal travel trailer type building... one was a spanish mission.. and wwas reminescent of new england home..
Design your own... they make Las Vegas out of foam and arcrylic stucco.. a roman tempal perhaps with fluted foam columns and painted pastel with vines growing on it...
What's your garden theme...
