Roslyn nursery, one of my fave LI sources, is closing up shop on the 30th, all plants %50 off till then. I was hoping I'd be able to get out there this weekend, but no dice.

I was wondering how they were hanging in there given their location; the real estate surrounding them looks fairly expen$ive.

Well worth the trip if you're nearby.

Have you ever checked out the Peconic River Herb Farm, Calverton, NY? I saw many of the harder to find magnolia and the Pink flowering Stryax there, both were far larger plants than what Roslyn had. You can also order on line.
