How to Grow Calla Lilies Outside??

| Hello all...
I have two pink flower calla lilies that I would like to plant outside. They did not come with growing instructions.
What sun conditions are required, and can calla lilies winter outside?
Would appreciate helpful input,

| Nice, I got a few $1 calla bulbs from National Wholesale liquidators back in March when I was itching to do something. stuck em in pots with potting soil and they are gorgeous now. I have em on my deck with gets sun after 1pm. and one by the front stoop with shade all day (minor filtered sun). I read they should be stored in a garage or basement dug up and in peat moss. some one correct me on this if I read wrong. HTH. |

| Terry Well you certainly have the touch!! This is the first time I've seen them in pink. They are absolutely beautiful!! Do you plan to leave them in the pot or transplant? Syl |

| Syl, I plan to leave them in the pot. I transplanted one for trial in FULL sun (the duffus that I am) and it croaked. so its shade/filtered light they like. or maybe just the froggie serenading it :)))))) |
