| this spring brought a lot of volunteer seedlings to my mini-tomato-cage-compost-pile. the biggest bunch looked like squash seedlings so i left a few that were in the pile (and out of my way) out of curiosity. so of course now there is this growing squash-like vine in the compost and i'm dying to know exactly what it is (and if maybe i should move a small patio tomato to give it room before things get too crowded). anyone have experience i.d.ing squash varieties (or happen to know if i am completely wrong..)? I can take a closer pic if it will help.. this just happens to be one that is posted already. |
