| I missed the great compost giveaway this year! I assumed it was on Mother's Day like last year-- but it was in April.
Does anyone know if they have any more to give away if one asks the right office or something?

| Goodness, I have no idea how it works. Brooklyn's composting facility has shut down, so the only events were in the Bronx and Staten Island. But, they might have more events in the Fall? I know that's long to wait =/ |

| Yep, the brooklyn facility doesn't have a permit to continue operations. Apparently, through last spring, they'd been giving away compost that they made in like 2004. Now they're all out of compost, and they can't operate. |
