I'm trying to find a grower in NYC who has a shiso plant for sale or some seeds to sell. Anyone out there??

Look for Perilla, Shiso is the common name. I planted Shiso aka Perilla a few years back and it reseeds itself everywhere each year!
Take care,

PS, always looking for new uses for Herbs, what do you do with it?

I'm a big Japanese food fan. Use it with herb salads, mix with rice, thinking that it might be a good mintish tea as well. Order an "umi-shiso roll" next time you eat japanese, it's a treat.
