transplant rose?

I would welcome anyone's opinions on transplanting a 2 year old rosebush (Gruss aan achen)in my Brooklyn garden that is quite protected by 2 brick walls and one fence.

| I have transplanted roses for years ... just make sure you get alot of their dirt ... many have a long tap root and keep a check on it for a month or so for water. Also a mild drink of fish emulsion, manure tea or alfalfa tea would help. |
