Anyone in this area growing crape myrtle, and if so, is it budding/blooming yet? Second year plant for me (in container) which I overwintered indoors; it's putting out lots of new growth, but no buds yet. Is there hope?

RE: crape myrtle

Meg - well you know where I'm from and I overwinter mine inside too... ;-) But you have a LONG time to go. They don't usually bloom until mid-late summer - Like July/August (even overwintered ones). They bloom around the same timeframe as Rose of Sharons.
