Red lily beetle

Hi all,
New to Long Island (north shore), moved from Mass (south shore..hence the name) and am planting new gardens. I was wondering if the red lily beetle has made it to LI. They never kept me from planting my lillies but they are a pain to control.

| I have lots of Asiatic and Oriental Lilies. No problem here. I am on the North Shore of Nassau County. |

| I am in CT, near the shoreline. Practically all of my asiatic lillies have been defoliated by these these little buggers this year. And now that I think of it, I think it started last season. Trish in CT
