Tomato plants - free in Manhattan

Posted by nygardener z6 New York (My Page) on

I have a few dozen healthy, stocky heirloom tomato plants that I won't have room for in my outdoor garden. I started them all from seed in early March and they're now about 6-8" tall. Here is a list of the varieties. (I'm in the West Village.)

These are extras that I grew "just in case," but don't need. They're ready to be planted out, or could be potted up to 6" pots if you want to wait a month. I hate to let them go to waste — send me a note if you want some!

Hi-- If you still have them I'd like a green zebra plant and one of the brown cherry tomatoes. How can I contact you?

Thanks.

Everybody should take advantage of Bill's tomatoes, they are great healthy plants! I picked up 2 and he has a lot more to share.

Do you still have plants available? I am a beginner wanting to grow 2 plants in pots on my south-facing balcony this year. Is that too much sun for them? If you have some that will work, I'd love to come get them!

Thank you,
Megan
