Can I plant yet or should I bring them in?

I picked up 3 flats of impatiens today that i ordered through my child's school. Now I'm thinking I need to take them inside or make something to protect them until I can plant them outside. Isn't it too early to plant?

Thanks,

It's too soon to get them into the ground. And the nights are still pretty cool to be leaving them outside unprotected. I've got some seedlings going that I keep outside during the sunny days and put inside for overnight.

I would defer putting them outside permanently until after May 15th.

they would probably survive, but will wind up looking pretty leggy and bare for a while. I would wait.

Mine are in the ground and have been for about a week. I plant my impatients the 2nd to 3rd week in April for years now and they do fine.
