Can I plant yet or should I bring them in?

| I picked up 3 flats of impatiens today that i ordered through my child's school. Now I'm thinking I need to take them inside or make something to protect them until I can plant them outside. Isn't it too early to plant?
Thanks,
Didi

| It's too soon to get them into the ground. And the nights are still pretty cool to be leaving them outside unprotected. I've got some seedlings going that I keep outside during the sunny days and put inside for overnight. I would defer putting them outside permanently until after May 15th. Ciao, OITGAD |

| they would probably survive, but will wind up looking pretty leggy and bare for a while. I would wait. |

| Mine are in the ground and have been for about a week. I plant my impatients the 2nd to 3rd week in April for years now and they do fine. |
