Sunday I was in the Cancer walk that was held in Central park ,,walking South on the path ,, I think near 65th street, was a small bridge that went over another path that had shrubs with large clear yellow flowers, on sprawling branches about 5' x 4' ,,planted on either side of the path on the slopes.

each branch was covered very thickly with lots of flowers, each about 2" or so in size

They were not forsythias ,,they were lighter and pure yellow I had never seen the plant before and there were no others anywhere

anyone know what they were ?

thanks
