| So, I'm about to try growing stuff on my fire escapes this year. The front one gets direct sun many hours a day. The back one gets direct sun, though noway near as much.
I went to Home Depot to look at their selection this weekend. It was paltry at best. Also, someone there told me it was too early to plant outside. Yet I see from this forum that some of you already have. What gives?
I plan on picking up some annuals at Union Square soon. Also, herbs. I want that fresh basil!
Any advice at all on what the heck I'm doing or supposed to be doing would be greatly appreciated. |
