Good nursery near Malverne (LI)?

| I want to put in a small raised-bed flower garden at my mother-in-law's home in Malverne (Long Island -- Nassau County) and would prefer *not* to shlep the plants from Massachusetts! Can anyone recommend a good nursery in the area (say, not more than a half-hour away -- I'm not very good at getting around there)?

| Try Garden World on Franklin Ave in Franklin Square, they've got lots of stuff at decent prices, 1 quart perennials are 4 for $11.86, and it's about 10 minutes from Malverne. Millie |

| Try Dee's Nursery in Oceanside- on Atlantic Ave just west of Long Beach Road. I have found that Dee's has better prices then Garden World. Just my opinion. -Candace |
