Ivy on a brick wall

| When we bought our home 10 years ago, there was ivy from our backyard growing up the neighboring apartment buildings brick wall. It has spread quite a bit over the years and we are concerned that we would be held responsible for any damage to the brick wall. Are our concerns warranted? |
