Staten Island anyone?

| Are there any other staten islanders out there? Im gardening alone this year and just wanted to know , where people are shopping and what we're growing? just curious . im on the south shore doing the usaul boring annuals and veg. last year the powdery mildew nearly ruined me. |

| Only things I've got in the ground now are broccoli plants, garlic from last fall, and chives from years ago. Also the usual spring bulbs. I'm wanting to try pole beans for a change along with tomatoes , peppers and hot peppers . My garden space got cut in half because the people who live next door put up a 6' chain link fence with the woven strips..and now the part adjacent to the fence doesn't get enough light. . We shall see whats going there when the days get longer.. maybe I'll plant a snake squash near the fence and let it roam free |
