ISO Rhubarb roots

I'm looking for a rhubarb root souce in Brooklyn; prefer to get them here rather than mail-order or travel into the city or NJ.
If you have purchased them in Brooklyn recently (last few years) or know where they will be sold when the season gets into full swing, please let me know.

| Last year Kings County Nursery had them but I haven't seen them there yet this year. They are on New York Ave at Rutland in PLG and have a website. I got mine mail order and was bitter to see them at Kings Cty priced less! Good luck. I planted 4 last year, didn't harvest them the first year so they'd establish as a perennial. Thanks to a neighbor's cat who took a liking to that vegetable bed only one plant made it and grew back this season. |
