| Anyone ever tried? I know a lot of people will say it's impossible, but has anyone ever actually tried? Stories from first hand experience whether success or failure would be appreciated. Thanks! |

| How big of a container did you use and what varieties did you grow? Are they still doing well? |

| I grow red Raspberries in a container on my rooftop... Latham is the name that comes to mind for their type... they will fill any container they are put in.. the roots will run through out ..and pop up everywhere.... they overwinter fine..Idon't mulch or anything...you'll not likely get enough for freezing or making jam..but to have a few warm from the sun berries in the morning.. with coffee is still lovely.. | It's off topic, but blueberries do great in containers here as well, and some types have great fall color, too! Jim |

| Hey, good to know. I don't think I'll be making any jams! I'm also trying a few blueberries this year. I need more buckets and dirt! I'll probably be headed to the Bronx Compost Giveback on April 5th or 6th. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that there is one in Brooklyn this year. |
