2 chefs seeking garden space

We are a couple of chefs looking for sunny urban space to plant a vegetable garden this spring. We both have gardening experience and enthusiasm, we just need to connect with someone who has the space and would be excited about the idea of someone putting it to good use. We'd have to determine if the soil is safe for growing edibles, and if not, we might be up for trying our hand at making raised beds...At any rate, if this seems like it would be of interest to you, please get in touch with us and let us know what kind of trade we could arrange with you (cooking, veggies/herbs/ homemade bread/pastries etc.) for the use of your garden space this upcoming season. We live in the lower east side and would love to find somewhere nearby, or even just over the bridge to Williamsburg. Looking forward to hearing from you!
