More first blooms

| Despite the cold snap before the hollidays and some high winds, my winter honeysuckle put out a few blooms last week, and I cut a stem to bring indoors.
Still waiting on my hammelis vernalis to open -- went to Wave Hill in the Bronx yesterday (highly recommended, even in winter) and some of their witch hazels were already open and smelling sweet!
Anyone else got winter blooms?

| My Sarcococca are in bloom, and early crocus (since mid-January). At BBG, the Witch-hazels and Chimonanthus have been in bloom for the past few weeks - since before the big snow. Crocus and Snowdrops, too. They all seem to have survived the blizzard pretty well. |
