Free to good home!

This year's garden is pretty full, and there isn't room for everything. Free plants: clary sage, garden sage, feverfew, Peacevine cherry tomato, sweet violet, wild ginger, iboza.

Also lots of small pots, and some beige plant trays.

For just pennies a day, you can rescue these plants from the compost pile. Don't delay!

I live in the West Village (near the West 4th Street or Christopher Street subway stop). Send me a note if you would like some plants.

how does wild ginger do in the shade? If it will do well, I'd love some. The ramps you gave me last year all came back and have spread a little bit this year - they seem to love it.

Oh great! Wild ginger (Asarum canadense) is a shade plant.

Where are you located? I would love the sages. My huge one died last year. I could send postage if you wanted to mail them.

I'm in the West Village, in Manhattan.

Don't know if you still have any more gingers, but I'd be happy to come and get some from you. Violets do well in shade also, right?
