Well I've a few stands of Free Ivy... it's a dark green big leafed type.. these are rooted decades old.. just pulled out of their planters and I was going to include them in a new planter .. but as they do climb on and attach them selves to anything... I can't include them... they have about a 1'-2" dia. stalk... one had about 8' of length already to go.. the other is smaller with about 3' of length.. guess it's a boston ivy... like on all of the Cambridge buildings there... but the root were supporting maybe 20-30 ' of growth before ... so they will really take off when you plant them... any takers... Gordon
Yes, I'd love some ivy! I have an "ugly" cinderblocked yard, and had been meaning to try some climbing plants to try and soften the walls and make them less "ugly". Where do you live? Maybe I could come by some weeknight or else over the weekend?
